Uralla Golf Club

Uralla Golf Club is an 18-hole par 70 grass greens course. The golf course is adjacent to the southern entrance to the township in the New England region. It is approximately half way between Sydney and Brisbane; about 501 km north of Sydney and 485 km south of Brisbane.

Throughout the year there are a number of Special days (e.g. Charity and Open) advertised on the home page, ‘What’s On.’ Special rates apply to Corporate, Business, and Social Group bookings.

Twilight golf in Daylight Saving period is available. Play is allowed any day except Saturday.

Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of New England High Country, Uralla boasts a heritage walk showcasing 50 buildings of historical significance. Several of these date from the 1860’s when the legendary and much feared gentleman bushranger Captain Thunderbolt ruled the local highways and byways.

Pop in to the local McCrossin’s Mills, built in 1870 now turned award-winning museum. The Mill also houses a gallery and function centre.

A short drive away along Thunderbolts Way is Mount Yarrowyck Nature Reserve, home to Aboriginal rock art that is up to 500 years old.
