Coffs Harbour’s Cameron Pollard has reclaimed his place at the top of the NSW Inclusive Championship, securing a fourth title with a commanding 18-shot victory at home.
After a disappointing finish last year, Pollard was determined to make amends.
“Playing at home is somewhat of an advantage, you get to sleep in your own bed,” he said.
“I played really well the last two days. Conditions were perfect and the greens were very nice.”
Pollard sank three birdies in his first ten holes, extending his lead as his challengers struggled to read the greens as well as he did.
“I had 28 putts yesterday, and today I rolled it really good.”

Kane Leonard claimed runner-up honours after a determined round of 78, edging out Lochie Smith, who had been just three shots off the lead but slipped to third.
In the Nett category, Ben Tullipan from The Glades impressed with a 135 on the challenging Coffs Harbour course, finishing three strokes better than his handicap.
Lachlan Pearson celebrated a runner-up finish in the net division, also claiming a couple of nearest-to-the-pin prizes.
“I am so excited. I had a great day and played well,” he said.

The Stableford competition was tighter, with Rodney Sampson of Helensvale Golf Club holding off a late charge from Ashley George to win by two points.
“I really enjoyed myself and it was a really good event. Looking forward to next year,” Sampson said.
Amanda Patterson triumphed in the Access Pass Stableford division, edging out Adam Letherbarrow on a countback following a brilliant final-round score of 41 points.
“I had a birdie on hole 22 and I was so excited,” Patterson said.
“I can now add this trophy to all my others at home.”
