Career Opportunity: Manager – Participation & Engagement (Metro Sydney)

You’ll be responsible for driving sustainable participation growth in golf across metropolitan Sydney, engaging traditional golf clubs and emerging facilities while building strong partnerships with schools, councils, commercial operators and community sport providers.

The role plays a critical strategic function in ensuring golf remains relevant, accessible and attractive within Australia’s largest and most diverse metropolitan market, supporting long-term player pathways, facility sustainability and ecosystem growth for both Golf NSW and Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG).

You’ll lead Metro Sydney participation strategies across traditional golf clubs, driving ranges and practice centres, mini golf and entertainment/virtual golf venues, and schools and council-owned facilities, identifying new access points into the game for juniors, women, families and new entrants. The role also involves engaging non-traditional and emerging golf venues to build formal pathways into the sport, and coordinating Golf NSW and JNJG participation programs across the metro region alongside Regional Managers and pathway teams.
