Bathurst Golf Club is one of Australia’s finest inland golf courses, just three hours drive west from Sydney, in the State’s central west.
Always in impeccable condition, the par 71 course boasts superb bent grass greens, and lush couch fairways.
Open to visitors, competitions are held frequently throughout the week. Bathurst Golf Club welcomes large and small golf groups daily.
The course has a variety of holes ranging form short par fours to challenging par fives. Highlights include the stretch of holes 5 through to 7 – a long par three with a well guarded green followed by two testing par fours running back to back.
Bathurst Golf Club – Views over King of the Mountain
The highest point of the course is at the 15th hole. For the visitors, there are views over the historic town and out towards the famous Mt Panorama Racing Circuit – the spiritual home of the King of the Mountain, Peter Brock.
Bathurst Golf Club regularly hosts major Golf NSW tournaments. In a sign of the course’s quality, it also hosted the 1990 New South Wales Open.
The Clubhouse at Bathurst is a relaxed place to enjoy a drink post round. Serving all popular beers, the club also boasts an extensive range of local cool climate, wines, and an award-winning bistro.
