Avalon Golf Club on the Northern Beaches of Sydney is a classic 9-hole public golf course. It is the only one on the peninsula available from dawn to dusk.
The course is a test for all skill levels allowing new golfers room to enjoy the game without being penalised, while at the same time offering experienced golfers a wonderful challenge requiring accurate tee shots and left wedge game.
Facilities include a two-storey clubhouse comprising a café, pro-shop, and large function room.
The club is conveniently located within a five-minute walk to the town centre and a short walk to the beautiful Avalon Beach. Drive a bit further north to the gorgeous Whale Beach or the world-famous Palm Beach, location of the TV Series “Home and Away.”
Ladies Avalon Golf Club
Avalon ladies play 18-hole competition on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:00am. New members, especially beginners, are welcome!
No bookings required. Unlike many local courses, visitors are welcome all day 7 days a week. Groups are welcome.
