The Terms of Competition- NSW Senior Foursomes are to be read in conjunction with the Golf NSW Standard Conditions for Events Run By Golf NSW, the Golf NSW Code of Conduct and the Golf NSW Hard Card.
Should a conflict occur between conditions, then the conditions outlined on the entry form take precedence.

1. Championship Procedure
1.1 The NSW Senior Foursomes Medal will be stroke play over one round of 18 holes Foursomes Stroke.
1.2 The leading male pair at the end of this foursomes stroke play shall be the Men’s NSW Senior Foursomes Medal winners and the leading female pair at the end of this foursomes stroke play shall be the Women’s NSW Senior Foursomes winners.
1.3 TIES: All ties to be determined using the Golf Australia Countback method.
1.4 Scratch and nett trophies will be awarded, with a limit of one trophy for each pair (awarded in order of value).
2. Championship Committee
2.1 The Championship Committee will comprise the Chair of the Golf NSW Golf Committee, Golf NSW Events Manager or their appointees, plus other nominated persons.
2.2 In the absence of a full Championship Committee, such members that may be present at the time may give a decision, and any decision so given will be deemed to be a decision of the full Championship Committee.
2.3 The decision of the Championship Committee as to acceptance or refusal of any entry will be final.
3. Rules of Play
The Rules of Golf, as adopted by R&A Rules Limited, will apply, together with Golf NSW Hard Card (see condition 10), and any additional Local Rules as drawn up by the Championship Committee.
4. Entries
4.1Â Â Â Â Handicap: Eligible players are amateurs whose GA Handicap (or overseas equivalent) does not exceed 15.4 (Men) and 28.4 (Women) at the time of entry.
4.2    Age: Competitors must be 50 years of age or over (both players must be 65 years of age or over for the over 65’s section) as at the first day of play.
4.3 Entry Fee: the entry fee applicable for this event is $70 per pair.
4.4 Exemptions: There are no exemptions for this Event.
4.4 Ballot: In the event of entry applications exceeding the number of places available in the event, precedence will be given in order of lowest combined handicap. Unsuccessful applicants will be informed without delay and given the opportunity to compete if withdrawals subsequently occur. Monies received from balloted entrants, who do not subsequently compete, will be refunded in entirety.
4.5 Withdrawal: upon withdrawal, as detailed in the Standard Conditions, a $10 administration fee is deducted (the $10 admin charge for entries not made online is also non-refundable).
5. Motorised Transport
The specimen condition in the 2019 Rules of Golf is in effect.
Participants must walk at all times during a stipulated round unless permission to use motorised transport has been granted by the Committee. The Committee will grant permission if the player is able to supply documentation (medical certificate or letter from club official) which states that the player requires use of motorised transport for medical reasons. Applications for permission MUST be made at the time of entry. Player’s must book carts with the host club as Golf NSW takes no responsibility for the availability of golf carts.
6. Practice
Practice rounds prior to the Championship are at the discretion of the host club.
7. Registration
Competitors MUST to register 30 mins before their starting time on each day of play.
8. Pace of Play

9. Trophies
Competitors may win only one prize. Prizes will be awarded in order based on value. If two prizes are of the same value
10. Golf NSW Hard Card
The Golf NSW Hard Card will be in effect throughout this event.
