Twelve talented juniors will represent NSW at the Australian junior interstate teams matches at Queanbeyan and Tea Tree Gully Golf Clubs during April.
The boys’ team is Lachie Jones, Jeffrey Guan, Josh Robards, Jye Halls, Jacob Dundas, and Ali Rachid.
The girls’ team is Belinda Ji, June Song, Sophie Yip, Annika Rathbone, Brielle Mapanao, and Angelina Gong.
The boys matches will take part at Queanbeyan Golf Club from 20- 23 April, while the girls will be held at Tea Tree Gully Golf Club in South Australia from 20 -22 April.
Khan Pullen, High-Performance Manager, Golf NSW was thrilled to announce the teams.
“All of those athletes selected are developing exemplary playing records, and certainly deserve the honour of representing New South Wales, ” Mr Pullen said.
The interstate teams matches follow the Australian Junior Championships which will be held on from 15 -17 April at Gold Creek Country Club for the boys, and South Australia’s Grange Golf Club (East Course) for the girls.
Both the Australian Boys’ and Girls’ Amateur are played over 72-holes stroke play with the respective Champions likely to receive exemptions into the 2020 Australian Open at Kingston Heath GC, and the 2021 ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open.
