The Golf NSW High Performance squad – in partnership with the Cancer Council NSW – will be taking part in the Longest Day Challenge.
The Longest Day is an endurance golf marathon designed to test your skill, strength and stamina. The challenge is to successfully complete four rounds (72 holes) of golf from dawn to dusk and raise funds for Cancer Council’s research, prevention and support services.
Teams of four players will take on four rounds of golf on December 16th – the longest day of the year – to make the most of the sunlight hours.
Participants will be playing stableford format, and although the scores aren’t really important, the reason for the fundraiser is.
The Cancer Council is internationally renowned for innovative work in cancer research, prevention and support. It’s mission is to prevent cancer, empower patients through providing information and support, and save lives
As an independent, not-for-profit organisation, the Cancer Council relies on the generosity of its supporters to continue their important work.
