The North Coast Junior Masters delivered a thrilling finish, with standout performances across every division and plenty of drama over the final 18 holes.
Overnight co-leader Levi Park (Kooindah Waters) got off to a red-hot start, carding five birdies across his opening nine holes to open up a four-shot lead heading into the back nine. With a host of quality players charging up the leaderboard, Park faced a challenge after making a double bogey on the par-five 11th hole. However, he responded brilliantly with back-to-back birdies to regain momentum and ultimately held on to secure a two-shot victory over The Australian’s Blake Cranston.
Park fired impressive rounds of 63 (-3) and 68 (-4) to finish at seven-under par for the tournament. After winning his age division in a playoff at this event last year, Park went one better in 2026 by claiming the overall title.
“It feels great to win. I had a rollercoaster round today, so it feels even better to get it done,” Park said.
“I really like this course, but I like it even better now.”
“My chip-in on the 13th was the highlight of my day. I’m really happy with the way I bounced back and managed my way around the course.”
Blake Cranston (The Australian) finished the tournament at five-under par, which was enough to claim the Boys 14 & 15 Years Division title by one shot over Ryde Parramatta’s Haohua Sun. After finishing runner-up in his division at this event last year, Cranston went one better in 2026 with back-to-back under-par rounds and a late charge at the overall championship.
Oatlands Golf Club young gun Noel Bae claimed top honours in the Boys 12 & 13 Years Division. Recently stepping up from the Under 12 Tour into the Junior Masters series, Bae has already made his mark. He carded rounds of 69 (+3) and 76 (+4) to finish at seven-over par, securing a six-shot victory over Concord’s Ethan Pak and Bayview’s Jackson Castle.
In the Girls Championship, 12-year-old Constance Wang (Avondale) held on to claim her first-ever Junior Masters victory. Wang produced a stunning eight-under par 62 in the opening round at Forster, highlighted by an incredible back-nine 29 (-8). A remarkable achievement for a player just 12 years of age.
Starting the final round with a three-shot lead, Wang endured a shaky start with six bogeys through her opening 11 holes, bringing the chasing pack right back into contention. Top contenders Jordyn Deen (Concord), Kiara Connolly-Jackson (Avondale), Savannah Webb (Stonecutters Ridge) and Mirabelle Naaman (Concord) all applied pressure down the stretch, setting up a thrilling finish. However, a clutch birdie on the par-three 16th hole proved decisive, with Wang finishing at four-under par overall and securing a three-shot victory over Mirabelle Naaman.
“I’m feeling pretty good. I didn’t play as well as yesterday, but I still tried my best,” Wang said.
“I was just really lucky yesterday. I holed all of my putts and my irons were pretty good.”
“I don’t think I played as well today because of the pressure of being in the lead.”
“I was just trying to believe in myself and make some birdies.”
The Girls 16 Years and Over Division was won by Concord’s Mirabelle Naaman. After a difficult start to the final round, Naaman bounced back with a series of birdies before making a charge at the overall title with three consecutive birdies on holes 14 through 16. Her rounds of 65 (-5) and 77 (+4) were enough to secure a three-shot victory in her division over Jordyn Deen and Kiara Connolly-Jackson.
Mackenzie Tiscareno (Manly) claimed the Girls 14 & 15 Years Division title after rounds of 75 and 79 gave her a tournament total of +11 and a one-shot victory over the in-form Milla Adamson (Bonville). The pair battled neck-and-neck throughout the final round, but a birdie on Tiscareno’s penultimate hole proved the difference and secured her first age division win of the year.
Next up on the Junior Masters calendar is the Macarthur Junior Masters, taking place June 7–8 at Camden and Campbelltown.
