Hillston is the second stop in the inaugural NSW Outback Series. Lachlan River Sporting & Recreational Centre, t/a Hillston Golf Club is an 18 hole black soil sand green course in the western Riverina. The course has grass fairways after rain, or dirt red fairways during drought. It is located just over the river on the Mossgiel Road.
The charming town is located on the Kidman Way; a scenic route in the heart of NSW between Jerilderie in the south and Queensland border in the north through Bourke. Visit Hillston.

Willandra National Park
Willandra, once a major sheep grazing area, is now a restored environment with wetlands, woodlands, and plains home to diverse wildlife, including emus and endangered species. Visitors can enjoy spotting kangaroos, bearded dragons, and snakes, and stay in historic men’s quarters with a chance to encounter the ghost of Flash Jack during shearing season.
