Tee times for the FORD NSW Open opening round at the Murray Downs Golf and Country CLub have been released.
The stars will be out early, with Cameron Smith and Lucas Herbert expected to put on an impressive show from the 10th at 7.20 am. NSW Amateur Champion Declan O Donovan will join The LIV golf stars in a massive moment for the Avondale Golf Club representative.
Teeing off from the tenth and in the group just in front of Smith is 2022 NSW Open Champion Harrison Crowe, who will get his Championship campaign underway alongside Ben Eccles, the 2015 Champion, and Jake McLeod, who lifted the Kel Nagle Cup at Twin Creeks in 2018.
Other stars playing in the morning half of the field include Newcastle’s Blake WIndred, teeing off the 10th at 7.30 am, the United States Tyler McCumber at 7.20 am from the 1st and another Novocastrian, Jye Pickin, who will tee off at 8.00 am from the first.
For those considering a later arrival, the afternoon half of the draw also promises plenty of excitement, with 2006 US Open Champion Geoff Ogilvy in action. The Victorian will get his round underway at 12.05 pm alongside two-time QLD PGA champ Phoenix Campbell and Westerrn Australia’s Curtis Luck.
Olivia Wilson, General Manager of Golf at Golf NSW, said the tournament site and course layout were in excellent condition. “Conditions look absolutely perfect for golf, and it should be reflected in the scoring.”
For those unable to get to Murray Downs, don’t forget the tournament will be broadcast live on Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the Seven Network through its Digital platform 7plus and on & two.
