After months of fierce competition, the Women’s Medal State Final is set to grace the greens of Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club tomorrow.

Fifty-two women from sixteen different districts across the state will battle it out after their outstanding performances during the two demanding stages of qualification.

The first stage of the 2023 NSW Women’s Medal competition was held between January and September and featured three divisions. The winner of the Medal in each division at club level was the player returning the lowest nett aggregate of three (3) scores at the end of the six rounds.

As the competition intensified, players moved to stage two, the District & Metropolitan Final Playoffs. Conducted across the 15 District Associations and the Sydney Metropolitan area, these playoffs brought forth winners from each division.

The final stage will see players, whose handicaps range from 7.8 up to 43.2, compete in three distinct divisions: Div 1-Gold, Div 2-Silver, and Div 3-Bronze. This divisional structure adds a layer of excitement, as competitors vie for top honours within their respective categories.

The showdown will begin with a shotgun start at 8 A.M.
