All three Divisions of the 2023 Keno Let’s Play Two Person Ambrose State Finals have delivered some sensational scoring in two of the three contests.
In the Men’s, Connor Turner and Tom Wyatt of Casino, playing off a combined 5.5 carded a nett 57.5 to lead from Andrew Smart and Dan Neill of Yamba.
In the mixed, Nick Crundall and Sue Schepisi returned the low gross score of the day, an impressive 61 for a 57.5. Second place is held by Don De Rota and Ksenia Sergataya of Gold Creek.
The Women’s Divison was a somewhat closer affair, with Kiama GC duo Jane Wall and Bernie Beacroft carding a 64.5 to be in front of Sussex Inlet’s Ann Finlay and Lynette Potter.
The contest isn’t over for those teams in the chasing pack, however, with the overall winner decided on a points system, with the winner of each day recieving a single point, second place two points, third place three, and so on down to 13th place.
The overall winner of each section is the team with the lowest point score after the completion of the two rounds.
