Yesterday saw another stellar addition of the Coronation Medal played at St. Michael’s Golf Club and Long Reef Golf Club.
With unseasonal cold, windy and rainy weather hitting the coast of Sydney, conditions for scoring were unbelievably tough.
The tournament was a tightly contested affair with only 6 shots separating the Top 10 teams.
Cromer Golf Club was able to combat the conditions and with net scores of 89, 69, 77 & 73 for a total of 308. The team consisting of Sonia Adams, Adele Brimmer, Rhonda Buizen & Zoe Arcus claimed victory over valiant efforts from New South Wales Golf Club & Monash Country Club who finished tied for second with total net scores of 309.
The Individual winners of the day were Joanne Ogle (Penrith GC) with a net score 68 at Long Reef GC and Jen Stibbard (Bonnie Doon GC) with a net score 71 at St. Michael’s GC.
