Nominations are now open for the position of Director on the Golf NSW Board.

For this year’s election, three elected positions are to be contested.
Director Frank Gal has completed consecutive terms on the Board and is ineligible to re-nominate for this election.
Director Kaye Dalton has completed an initial term and is eligible to re-nominate.
Director Lyn Cooper has served two consecutive terms and is eligible to re-nominate for one more three-year term in accordance with an Ordinary Resolution passed at the 2022 AGM under Rule 14.4 (c) of the Constitution.
Voting for Directors will be the responsibility of Member Clubs and Districts.
Under the terms of the Constitution of Golf NSW, the Board of Golf NSW includes nine Elected Directors: three male, three female and three of any gender. At least one female and one male Director must reside in Country NSW or the ACT, and at least one female and one male Director must reside in the Sydney metropolitan area. There will be no requirement at the 2023 elections for a specific country or metropolitan Director to be elected, given the make-up of the Directors not being required to stand for election.
The Board generally meets six to eight times per year, with all expenses reimbursed to attend the meetings.

WHO CAN VOTE IN THIS ELECTION
Voting for Directors will be the responsibility of Member Clubs and Districts. If required, Ballot papers will be sent to those eligible to vote as soon as possible after the close of Nominations, via email and by post. Voting papers may be completed and returned via post, or a vote may be logded online.
Club and District Presidents are authorised to exercise the Club’s or District’s voting rights unless the Club or District has appointed another person in accordance with the Golf NSW Constitution. If your Club or District has appointed somebody else to undertake this role, you will be contacted in a separate piece of correspondence.

- Nominations Open: Thursday, 21 September 2023
- Nominations Close: 4 pm, Wednesday 11th October 2023
- Voting Opens: As soon as possible after nominations close
- Voting closes: 4 pm Monday 13th November 2023
- AGM: Golf NSW will announce the 2023-2024 Directors at the AGM to be held at 6 pm on Monday 20th November 2023
