The team from Pymble proved too powerful for the competition, taking home the Bronze Medallion at Ryde-Parramatta & Camden Lakeside Golf Clubs.
The event took place yesterday after a three year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year seeing around 170 golfers represent 42 different clubs from both metropolitian and regional areas.
An impressive 124 points saw Pymble take home the win, the team of Michelle Breytenbac, Andrea Peterson, Sandy Kimberley & Ferne Pardy conquering through tough conditions at both courses.
The Royal Sydney Golf Club team of Catherine Barr, Jane Todd, Georgia Rasmussen & Sally Mactier finished a close 2nd with a combined total of 122 points.
The individual winners for the day were Georgia Rasmussen with a fantastic score of 38 points at Camden Lakeside, with Agnes Jones shooting the best score at Ryde-Parramatta with 37 points.
Golf NSW extends their thanks to Ryde-Parramatta and Camden Lakeside for hosting this years’ event. Next years’ courses will be selected by this years’ winning team.
