The 2022 Pewter Plate was finally held after a long two year wait. After covid, cancellations, multiple rescheduling, we finally made our way to Ryde-Parramatta for the event.
The day started out overcast with 42 women in the field. Rain set in with about 9 holes to go, making the already tough course much longer out there.
The Pewter Plate (teams event) winners were Tomi Tsumara and Leisa Barry from Wakehurst Golf Club with 71 points, and the runners up were Cathy McDonald and Karen White from The Coast Golf Club with 65 points.
The individual Stableford winner was Cathie Thompson from Woolhara with 37 points, and the individual Stableford runner up was Leisa Barry from Wakehurst Golf Club with 36 points.
Next years Pewter Plate will head to Wakehurst Golf Club in the honour of the winning team.
