Like many businesses, COVID-19 and the resulting workplace disruptions over the previous two years have allowed Golf NSW to review its operations and office arrangements.
The review looked at the operational needs of Golf NSW for 2022 & beyond, how to best serve our affiliated clubs, and how to work collaboratively with industry partners.
In addition, last year’s extended ‘work from home’ period due to the pandemic highlighted the practicalities of staff working remotely.
With the Duncan Street, Arncliffe office no longer meeting the organisation’s needs, Golf NSW will now administer the sport from a new, smaller head office and a series of ‘on-course’ satellite offices.
The Golf NSW head office is now located at Level 4, 376 Bay St Brighton Le Sands, with satellite offices at Dunheved Golf Club, St Mary’s, and Wollongong Golf Club.
The organisation continues to explore opportunities to house another satellite office in the northern Sydney metropolitan area with a strong preference to establishing an ‘on course’ relationship with an affiliated club.
Stuart Fraser, CEO of Golf NSW, said the move would reduce costs, improve staff welfare, and extend the delivery of Golf NSW services and programs to affiliated clubs across the state.
“The cost efficiencies alone will allow Golf NSW to service our affiliated clubs better and fulfil many of the initiatives outlined in the current Golf NSW Strategic Plan,” Mr Fraser said.
