The Golf Challenge NSW Open will be broadcast LIVE on Fox Sports Australia and across its streaming service, Kayo later this month.
In partnership with Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) and their production arm Rainmaker, Golf NSW will be delivering coverage of the 91-year-old championship as Australia’s best golfers battle it out for the Kel Nagle Cup over three days, beginning on Friday, 18 March.
Chief Operating Officer at Golf NSW, Mr Graeme Phillipson, said he was thrilled with the opportunity to showcase the sport and the revered Concord Golf Club, which is hosting the NSW Open for the 14th time in its illustrious history.
“We are not only showcasing the fabulous Concord layout, but we will be showcasing some of the finest players in Australian golf.”
The NSW Open has a rich history of past champions, many of whom have gone on to compete on the world stage, and broadcasting live is an excellent opportunity for fans of the sport right across Australasia to see many of the game’s future stars shine.

Current DP World Tour players Jason Scrivener and Jake McLeod have lifted the trophy in recent years, while other winners include Peter Lonard, Craig Parry, and Ian Baker-Finch.
Greg Norman certainly made Concord his home winning three of his four NSW Open titles at the revered Concord layout during his playing days.
The recently completed NSW Regional Open series was live-streamed across Golf NSW and SEN digital channels with extremely pleasing feedback from viewers.
“Fans of the sport have missed golf locally,” Mr Phillipson added. “We know there are plenty of fans out there who like to follow their local professional as they attempt to forge a career in the sport.”
“Not only did players and fans embrace the series, but we also showcased several of the best courses in regional New South Wales to the world.”
Rainmaker CEO Richard Simkiss said he is looking forward to catching the upcoming Championships, especially with the number of golfing young guns who will be vying for the Kel Nagle Cup.
“Jed Morgan, Dimi Papadatos, Andrew Dodt, Anthony Quayle, Blake Windred, and reigning champion Bryden Macpherson are all extremely impressive golfers and will be very entertaining to watch.
“I hope over the three days of the Tournament we can uncover some more unknown developing golfing talent who will be going on to be international names in the coming years.”
The $400,000 Golf Challenge NSW Open will be staged at Concord Golf Club from March 17th to 20th, 2022. The tournament is an integral part of the 2021/22 ISPS Handa PGA Tour of Australasia.
