Sixteen talented juniors will represent NSW and the Australian Capital Territory at the 2022 Australian Junior Interstate Teams Matches in South Australia this April.
The NSW Boys’ Team is: Jye Halls, Will Moody, Jeffrey Guan & Joshua Todd.
The ACT Boys Team is: Nathan White, Hunter Caldwell, Harry Whitelock and Noah Bricknell.
The NSW girls’ team is: Rachel Lee, Lara Thomsen, Charlotte Perkins & Ella Scaysbrook.
The ACT Girls Team is: Matilda Sullings, Emily Mollard, Amber Tilley, and Madison Hood.
Managers for the teams are Rachel Bailey and Luke Woods (NSW) & Nicole Bessant and Luke Grinham (ACT)
In a first for the Junior Interstate Teams contests, all matches will be played at Mt Osmond Golf Club, with the series running from April 11 to 14th.
Khan Pullen, High-Performance Manager, Golf NSW, was thrilled to announce the teams.
“All of the athletes selected are developing exemplary playing records and certainly deserve the honour of representing New South Wales and the ACT,” Mr Pullen said.
The Junior Interstate Teams Matches will follow the Australian Boys’ and Girls’ Junior Championships held this year at The Vines Golf Club of Reynella, South Australia, from April 5 to 8th.
Both the Australian Boys’ and Girls’ Junior are played over 72-holes stroke play with a cut after 54 holes.
The 2022 champions will likely receive exemptions into the respective men’s and women’s Australian Opens.
