Due to the latest Government restrictions in four metropolitan local government areas, The City of Sydney, Woollhara, Waverley and Randwick which come into effect from 11.59 pm tonight, Golf NSW has made the difficult decision to postpone a number of upcoming events.
As a result, the Master Pennant Semi-final and relegation contests pencilled in for this Sunday (27 June) to be played in the Sydney Metropolitan area and Springwood in the Blue Mountains, will no longer take place.
The regional elimination contest at Toukley between Maitland and Waratah, however, will still go aahead
The details of the postponed contests will of course change. Once rescheduled arrangements are confirmed, details will be sent to clubs. Golf NSW will provide further information to the relevant club officials and managers on Monday regarding this process.
All players, caddies, spectators and officials are kindly asked to adhere to all relevant Government restrictions now in place surrounding COVID-19.
IN addition to the above changes, The Pewter Plate set down for Thursday, July 1st at Ryde Parramatta Golf Club has been postponed. Golf NSW will provide further details regarding a rescheduled date when it can be confirmed.
