Overnight Co-leader Louise Mullard has jumped to a tidy three-shot lead after the second round of the NSW Senior Amateur Championship.
Mullard handled the testing Duntryleague layout better than anyone, posting a second consecutive four over par round of 76. The Wyong gun could’ve been further in front except for an ill-timed double bogey on the 17th.
Overnight co-leader, Kim Burke, battled hard in the warmer afternoon conditions, but tree trouble and her failure convert a couple of chances on the slick Duntryleague greens saw her card a 79.
Defending Champion, Jacqui Morgan is six shots back of Mullard at 14 over, while the best of the local hopes is Susan Fenwick at 17 over.
In the 55-59 Age Division, Mullard leads Fenwick by nine shots, while in the 60-64 Division, Kim Burke leads Jacqui Morgan by three.
Maggie Hayes of Bermagui has a tight hold on the 65-96 yrs division, while Magpie Belconnen’s Pat Woodberry has a mortgage on the over 70 women’s division.
