Mower Wish Came True at Tipperary

The fairways at Tipperary are looking ‘slicker than an Elvis Presley hairdo’ after the club’s wish for a new mower came true with the assistance of the NSW Golf Foundation.

Club Adam Jasprizza said the club is ecstatic with the mower, purchased from South West Tractors, Young, with the club’s previous mower on its last legs.

“We reached out to Joel at South West Tractors, and they were more than happy to help us out through their Community Assistance Program with a huge discount,” Mr Jasprizza explained.

“We still required around $5000 to seal the deal, so we approached the NSW Golf Association for grant assistance, and they too were more than eager to chip in with our mower wish.”

The new ride-on, a Hustler Raptor SD 48 zero-turn mower, is already turning heads at the south-west district club.

“We are immensely grateful for the assistance.

“We will have the course looking slicker than an Elvis Presley hairdo,” Mr Jasprizza said.

Tipperary is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary this year, and Mr Jasprizza said the vibe around the club is buzzing.

“This club has grown and developed into an asset for all members and the public to enjoy.

“We are a community-focused club, operated by volunteers, and we give back where we can.

“Last year we ran a charity fund-raising day for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation, raising almost $1000

“Anyone looking for a relaxed, friendly and social atmosphere is more than welcome.

“It’s inexpensive, and a great facility for all ages.

“We are a small club with a big heart,” he added.
