Kitchin won the overall event with a nett 73 on a countback from Bowral’s Ruth Bailey. Kitchin has been crowned the Women’s Medal Competition State Final Winner for 2019.
Country Gold Medal
Moss Vale’s Kim Delaney had nett 76 to take out the division one Gold Medal, followed by Kaylene Nash of Armidale with 78 nett. In third place was Wendy Ryan from Tamworth Golf Club. Liz Harding of Young Golf Club won the division one scratch for the Country with a score of 89.
Metropolitan Gold Medal
Helen Garvey from Wakehurst won the division one nett for the Metropolitan section with 78 nett. Lynwood’s Melissa Williamson won the scratch with a 92 off the stick.
Country Silver Medal
Kiama’s Lori Bell took out the Silver Medal for the Country with a 76 nett, one ahead of Jennifer Siegel of Shelly Beach. Third place went to Port Macquarie’s Karen Jeffery with 81 nett.
Metropolitan Silver Medal
Andrea McKinley from Bayview Golf Club won the Metropolitan Silver Medal with a nett score of 81.
Country Bronze Medal
Betty Kitchin also won the Country Bronze Medal and Ruth Bailey in the second position. Diane Rudd of Breakers Country Club took out third place with a nett 82 on a countback from Jeanette Irwin of Hunter Vally GC.
Metropolitan Bronze Medal
Lynwood’s Jannine Smith won the Metropolitan Bronze Medal with an 80 nett.
