The final round of the Men’s NSW Sand Greens Championship in underway in perfect conditions after some much needed rain for the second straight night.
With the top ten golfers only separated by 3 shots, it will come down to who ever can handle the heat and Barraba’s firm sand greens.
Barraba’s Kevin Kelaher will rely on his local knowledge to try to chase down the leaders. He currently sits only 2 shots back in the overall standing but finds himself leading the NSWVGA Championship by 1 shot.
In the Teams Nett event, the trio of Warren Bender, Mark Winnett and Tim Putland lead by two shots over the team from Walgett, with Murrurundi a further two shots a drift.
