Billy Brigden of Warren Golf Club holds a one shot leads over Brad Hurley, Duane Faro-Mann and Dean Leach who all came in with 74.

Kevein Kelaher leads the NSWVGA Championship after carding a solid score of 75. He hold a one shot lead over David Doig. Both players in contention for the J B Lugsdin Memorial Trophy.

NSW Men’s Sand Greens Champs underway at Barraba

The 2019 NSW Men’s Sand Greens Championship are underway at Barraba Golf Club.

107 golfers are vying for the J B Lugsdin Memorial Trophy in the 36 hole Stroke Championship with a Teams Nett Event run in conjunction.

The rain came down overnight at Barraba

Play got underway on time in mild conditions, after some heavy – and long overdue – overnight rains turned the course into small lake.

Local Peter York will be one of the players to beat. York teed off at 10.00 am alongside Gunnedah’s Mark Benson and Billy Brigden of Warren Golf Club from the 10th tee.

Round 1 – Saturday 12 October Shotgun Start @ 10:00am

Round 2 – Sunday 13 October Shotgun Start @ 9:00am
