Monash Country Club”s Cameron Davis is heading back to the PGA tour in 2020 after a stunning comeback in the final round of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship.

The 24-year-old carded a five-under-par 67 to jump 16 spots and finish in a tie for 13th place at the season-ending championship.

The result was good enough for the Sydneysider to finish in 23rd position with 197 points in the three-tournament final series.

Davis will join Lismore’s Rhein Gibson on tour in 2020 after Gibson secured his card with a 13th place finish in the points list during the regular season.

Sydneysider Matt Jones, who graduated in the ’25 at last season’s Web.com Tour Championship will also be back on the PGA tour next year after finishing the regular season in 91st place.

Sadly forJamie Arnold, a missed cut cruelled his chances of staying inside the coveted 25, with the Cronulla local dropping 18 places into 36th spot and outside the number.
