With just a round remaining, there’s plenty of interest in who will progress to the elimination stage of the TL Warren and W Gibson trophies.
TL Warren
Section one: Antill Park simply need to win at home against Camden to win the section, while Lane Cove would need to win away at Massey Park and rely on an Antill Park loss.
Section Two: Penrith and Wallacia are vying for top spot after Penrith clinched a vital away win last week at Springwood. This was the only away win in this section, showing what a massive advantage the home course is. Penrith only needs a draw to progress and have been dominant at home winning both matches 3-nil.
Section Three: Interest will be in the Lakeside vs Hurstville match at Lakeside The Camden- based team only need a draw to progress.
Section four: Another last round decider with Muirfield and Barnwell Park meeting this weekend to decide top spot. With the match played at Muirfield, a draw will be good enough for the home team.
Section Five: Wooloware is just 0.5 of a match behind Bondi in the section. Wooloware, however, has the advantage of their last match at home. Bondi will only need a draw in their match at Eastlake to win the section.
Section Six: Cumberland, having already qualified for finals, will be out for a big result in this weekend’s match against Randwick to determine where they will be seeded in the elimination section.

Section Seven: Bayview is at home against section leaders Cammeray. A draw will see Cammeray through, while a loss will see Bayview leapfrog them and move into the knockout stages.
Section Eight: The Coast need only a draw away against Campbelltown to progress, while Woollahra will need to beat Moore Park 3-nil away and then hope The Coast lose their match 3-0.
Section Nine: Kareela has been dominant all year and secured their place in the knockout stages with a round to go.
The drawn result for Kareela away to defending champions Bexley two weekends ago was the turning point for the Shire-based team.
Section Ten: Northbridge lead the section, and with a home game against Beverley Park will be hard to beat. Cabramatta, to have any chance, will need to beat Georges River away from home and then hope Beverley Park take the win at Northbridge.
W Gibson
Section One: A solid year for Camden sees them qualify through to final series with a round to go. They will try to improve their seeding with a win this weekend away at Antill Park.
Section Two: Penrith are already through to next stage. Last week’s away win against 2018 runners up Lynwood gave them enough breathing to secure the section win.
Section Three: Lakeside could throw a spanner into the works with a home win against leaders Hurstville. If Hurstville loses, then the winner of the Riverside Oaks vs Castlecove at Riverside Oaks will determine the winner of the section.
Section Four: By far the closest section, any of the four teams could go through. Leaders Gordon face Macarthur Grange away from home with Barnwell Park and Murifield doing battle in the other match. Should Gordon lose, the team to progress will likely come from the Muirfield/ Barnwell Park contest.
Section Five: Asquith have their nose in front by three individual matches over Bondi, but both teams are away for last round against Woolooware and Eastlake respectively. It’s a pretty simple scenario for both: with a win away from home needed to progress. It is advantage Asquith however.
Section Six: Roseville sit on top of the pool with Cumberland hot on their heals only half a point behind. Roseville needs to secure a home win against Palm beach to progress if Cumberland were to defeat Randwick away.
Section Seven: Cammeray has secured a spot in the finals with just the last round to be played. Three wins were enough to the 2016 champions progress.
Section Eight: It couldn’t get any closer than this: The Coast and Woollahra are equal on three wins and ten individual matches, so it all comes down to their away contests against Moore Park and Campbelltown. If either team wins away, then they qualify. If both lose or both win, it will come down to individual matches. If still tied, then it will be decided by lot.
Section Nine: It is Fox Hills vs Kareela to decide the winner of the section. Kareela will be hoping to join their T.L. Warren team in the final series, and a draw will see them through. If they were to lose, they would only need one individual match to progress. Fox hills will need to win 3-0 to advance.
Section Ten: Beverley Park has been too strong with five wins from as many contests. With an away win at Northbridge this weekend, they will finish as top seeds for the finals.
