Sand greens specialist, Chantell Greaves (Dunedoo) has made a great start to her 2019 Women’s NSW Sand Greens Championship campaign with an even-par 71. Greaves produced six birdies in her first round to lead the field by three shots. Jenny Stephenson (Cobar) was able to produce the next best score of 74, with fellow Cobar member, Narelle Kriz rounding out the top-three in the Championship on 77.
In the nett competition, there was exceptional scoring by another Dunedoo member, Karen Solberg, blitzing the field with an incredible 60 nett off a handicap of 21. Following Solberg is Donna Martin (Walcha) with nett 62 off a handicap of 16, with a number of players only being a shot or two further back.
