Sheree Lokan from Iluka Golf Club on the NSW North Coast has cruised to an eight-shot win at the women’s NSW Sand Greens at Werris Creek Golf Club over the weekend.
Lokan finished with a two-round total of 156, with Cobar’s Jenny Stephenson, who made the trek from far west NSW to grab the runners-up spot, the next best at 164.
Fay Schliebs of Albury Commercial took out the nett with a score of 139, from Walcha’s Donna Martin on 147.
Division II gross went to Peggy Penberthy of Narrabri, with the nett in the division going to Stacey Edwards of Barraba on a countback.
