Golf NSW is expanding its support of the golf industry through Industry Membership, creating stronger connections between traditional golf clubs and the growing number of businesses and facilities introducing people to the game across New South Wales and the ACT.
Golf NSW works with about 380 affiliated golf clubs, providing support, advocacy, participation programs, governance resources, communications, and industry expertise that helps clubs and golfers thrive. Industry Membership extends these benefits to golf-related businesses and facilities that play a vital role in growing participation in the sport.
Industry Membership is designed for: Driving Ranges, Golf Simulator Venues, Mini Golf Facilities, Golf Tour Operators, Public Access and Non-Member Golf Clubs, Other Golf Industry Service Providers.
Golf is no longer experienced solely through traditional golf clubs. According to Golf Australia’s 2021/22 Participation Report, more than 1.2 million Australians engage with golf exclusively through off-course facilities and non-member golf environments, including driving ranges, simulators and mini-golf venues.
These facilities often provide a golfer’s first experience with the game and play an important role in encouraging participation, skill development, and lifelong involvement in golf.
Industry Membership connects an organisation with the broader golf community and helps promote its business through Golf NSW’s extensive industry network.
The following outlines the potential features and benefits of Industry Membership for 2026–2027.
