Yass Golf Club is the 29th oldest course in NSW. The club celebrated its centenary in 2003. The club is located in the thriving township of Yass in NSW’s Southern Tablelands. It is about 280 km southwest of Sydney on the Hume Highway.
The 18-hole grass greens course is a par 5193 metres course. The fully irrigated course may appear small, however, there is a mean streak hiding beneath the demure appearance, with undulating fairways and greens with real break. You will need your “A” game to deliver.
The Yass Golf Club operates the Golf Shop with a range of products, drinks and snacks. Cart hire is also available. Contact the friendly staff about any corporate, social or competition days.
There is a relaxing lounge overlooking the golf course, with a friendly sports bar for that 19th hole refreshment. The Restaurant @ the Golfie serves Aussie-Asian cuisine with both dine in and take away options, as well as cater to functions on request.
Yass Golf Club is about a 25 minute drive to Yass Valley, the heart of the Canberra District wine region. Enjoy wine tasting at cellar doors of iconic wineries, and browse gourmet food shops and farmers markets.
Visit soon and enjoy the sports bar, restaurant, relaxing lounge, outdoor area with barbecue, ATM, keno club, gaming room, men’s and ladies locker rooms and a great function room for any occasion.
