Woodburn-Evans Head Golf Club is situated on the NSW north coast. It is a wonderful, friendly country course, offering plenty of challenges for golfers of all abilities.
A tight, tree lined course with numerous green-side bunkers to encourage precise approach shots. The terrain at Woodburn-Evans Head Golf Club is relatively flat, making for easy walking.
Many of the holes require good club selection. With some interesting contours and roll off areas; you’ll be tested on both approach play and putting shots.
The abundant native wildlife is another attractive feature of the course, with sightings of koalas and wallabies on a regular basis.
EVANS HEAD is a delightful place, known for its prawn trawling and fishing. It also has one of the best surfing beaches on the North Coast and hence is a popular summer resort and winter retreat for visitors from all areas. The Silver Sands Tourist Park, which becomes home to many visitors, is one of the largest in NSW.
WOODBURN has a long tradition of water skiing on the Richmond River and had the first water ski club in NSW. It still caters for the sport and also offers good fishing and picturesque riverside parks. Other local attractions include unique nature reserves and National Parks.
