Wisemans Ferry Golf Club is a 9-hole golf course located 75km north north-west from Sydney in the Hornsby Shire along the Retreat at Wisemans. The picturesque course lies along the banks of Hawkesbury River; four national parks surround the area.
The golf course was designed by Terry Watson and Norm Carr to be enjoyed by golfers of all standards. However, there are numerous bunkers, water hazards and of course, nature itself, which requires focus for even the experienced golfer.
Although the course is flat and easy to walk, golf carts are available. Clubs and trolleys can also be hired from the golf shop.
Wisemans Ferry Golf Club Competitions
You do not need to be a member of Wisemans Ferry Golf Club to play golf in the Saturday morning competitions. If you have a Golf Link number you are eligible for all major daily prizes except for monthly medals.
If you do not have a Golf Link number, you are still eligible for all minor daily prizes, e.g. “nearest-to-pin” and “longest drive.” The club welcomes social and corporate groups for golf days with a variety of catering options. Bookings – 02 4560 0500.
Resting on nearly 50 acres of grounds, the Retreat at Wisemans offers a range of facilities from a conference centre, Riverbed Restaurant and massage rooms. It is a great escape from the city.
