Waratah Golf Club is the oldest golf club in the Newcastle & Lake Macquarie region.
Founded in 1901, golf was originally played at Dangar Park (Mayfield), and moved to the present course at Argenton, Lake Macquarie in 1921.
Today the course is a par 71 measuring 5905 metres from the blue markers.
Waratah Golf Club has been a leading light for golf in the region as well as in NSW and Australia. Our History is long and we are proud of its traditions.
The club’s goal is to continue to provide the best possible golf course, the best possible amenities and the best possible golfing experience for all.
The staff and members of Waratah Golf Club hope you enjoy the course as a place for a great game of golf.
