Wagga Wagga Country Club is one of the best country golf courses in NSW. The club is located on the shores of Lake Albert and included in Australia’s top 100 country courses.
It is just under a five hours’ drive from both Sydney and Melbourne, and about three hours from Canberra. You can also catch the train direct from Sydney and the journey takes six hours, or fly into Wagga Wagga Airport then hire a car.
The beautiful tree-lined course has immaculate bent greens and all-weather fairways. The blind tee shots are unique and the greens are fairly quick. The par 4 first hole is the most demanding driving hole on the course with a dogleg to the left. The course’s signature 11th hole is a good reminder that a strong, challenging hole does not need to be overly long. The view from the green across the 17th green, 18th fairway and to the lakes is one of the best on the Wagga Wagga Country Club course.
The perfectly manicured fairways and superb clubhouse make a picturesque venue of choice for weddings and functions.
The Wagga Wagga Country Club is the most iconic attraction for the avid seasonal and social golfers. The 18-hole championship course is worth a definite visit, regardless what time of year it is. Experience the Riverina’s leading and most rewarding golf course.
