The Grange Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course located in Kembla Grange, Wollongong, NSW. It is about an hour and a half hours drive from Sydney and fifteen minutes from the heart of Wollongong.
Mullet Creek winds its way throughout the course coming into play on 11 holes, mostly on the back nine. It creates a course of two contrasting nines. The creek is at its most punishing on the back nine. The outward half is flat and easy walking, with the pick being the two par 3s, the 4th and 7th.
The Grange Golf Club’s longest par 5, 13th requires straight hitting, so does the shortest par 18th. This hole is considered by most to be the club’s signature hole. There is only one thing between you and the front edge of the green – the cool, flowing waters of Mullet Creek.
The Grange Golf Club opened in 1964 and has become renowned for its challenging yet accessible course and natural surrounds.
In June 2006, The Grange Golf Club amalgamated with Dapto Leagues Club; sharing its vision to enhance both clubs for the benefit of locals and members.
The club’s aim is to delivery quality hospitality and customer service, while remaining financially secure and socially responsible.
A major refurbishment took place in 2016 in partnership with Troon Golf.
The Grange Golf Club is cementing itself as one of NSW’s premier golf clubs delivering more for locals, whilst driving tourism, both domestic and international, to the Illawarra region.
