Tathra Beach Country Club is the ‘gem of the Sapphire coast.’ It is located on the Far South Coast, about 20 minutes drive north of Merimbula. It is a six-hour drive from Sydney, seven hours from Melbourne and three hours from Canberra.
It is an amazing riverside and an easy walking 18 holes golf course with lots of flora and fauna. The course is relatively flat with gentle undulations. It is a superb all-weather golf course.
Tathra is a nice seaside escape where there is plenty of beaches and crystal clear waters for diving and snorkelling. The iconic Tathra Wharf is the centerpiece of the town. The wharf was opened in 1862 for steamships to transport people and goods along the South Coast.
Taste the famous Sydney rock oysters at Tathra Oysers or kick back with a cool drink at the heritage-listed Tathra Hotel after a game.
Tathra Beach Country Club also offers a range of facilities including poker machines, KENO, BBQ facilities, and beer garden with ample parking. A tennis court is right a stone’s throw from Tathra’s main beach. The Club’s Chinese restaurant operates from Wednesday to Sunday. There are a good range of choices and reasonably priced.
