Stroud Golf Club is a par 71 public golf course located in the Karuah Valley. The club is part of the Stroud & District Country Club. Stroud is a small historic country town one hour north of Newcastle, Nelson Bay and Hawkes Nest on Bucketts Way.
Stroud is about 2.5 hours from Sydney, 1.5 hours from Forster on the coast and the Hunter Valley wine area. It is the gateway to the Barrington Tops National Park just over an hour away.
The Club has a long history and celebrated 60 years in 2019. Its course is available for non-members with an honesty box located near the first tee for use when the Club is not open.

When in Stroud, visit the small country town with its rich history dating back to the 1820s located in the Barrington Coast region. The Australian Agricultural Company founded the town in the 1820’s to produce fine wool for British mills. The town is now preserved by the National Trust.
