Springwood Country Club is situated in the centre of the Blue Mountains about 1 1/2 hours drive west from Sydney.
Founded in 1905, the course has an ACR rating of 70 Par 69 for the men and AWCR of 74 par 74 for the women.
From the blue tees the course has a slope rating of 126, making it the toughest in the Blue Mountains. For the ladies off the red tees, the slope is 128.
Blending into the undulating terrain and natural bush setting Springwood is not a long golf course, but it is challenging for golfers of all abilities.
There are two practice nets, practice green and a practice fairway for golfers to use to warm up pre round.
Springwood Country Club is a thriving club and the social centre for locals with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Visitors are always welcome and there is always some form of entertainment available at the club-house.
