Springwood Country Club is an 18-hole golf course located in the centre of the Blue Mountains. It is about an hour’s drive west of Sydney, and 371 metres above sea level. The region takes advantage of the beautiful temperate climate, is “above the smog, and below the fog.” The golf course takes in the 360 degree views of the natural terrain.
Blending into the undulating terrain and natural bush setting, Springwood is not a long golf course, but it is challenging for golfers of all abilities. From the blue tees the course has a slope rating of 126, making it the toughest in the Blue Mountains. For the ladies off the red tees, the slop is 128.
There are also two practice nets, a practice green and practice fairway for golfers to use to warm up pre-round.
Springwood Country Club has been established on its present site for over 100 years. It is a thriving club and the social centre for locals, with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The club also has two squash courts, darts club, fishing club, poker, pro shop, children’s play area, and the fantastic Orchard Brasserie. There really is something for everyone.
