Oberon Golf Club invites you to Oberon and play on our picturesque 18-hole golf course. The course is on the foreshores of Lake Oberon in the Central Tablelands of NSW. It is about two and a half hours west of Sydney.
The challenging and undulating course carves through towering forests of gums. It is the work of prolific golf architect Al Howard. Oberon is famous for its small, sloping greens, spectacular views and tight fairways. Another feature at Oberon Golf Club is that there are no bunkers.
In the winter months, the cool climate and over 1000m in altitude, the course can receive a light dusting of snow.
You may see kangaroos as you play the beautiful, well-groomed fairways, and put on the pristine all-grass greens.
Handicap players are welcome to play in the Saturday Members Competition. Then join the locals for a few cold, refreshing beverages in the newly renovated clubhouse.
The Oberon Golf Club is open seven days a week. A men’s competition is held on Saturdays; women are also welcome to play in this competition. Particularly great for people new to golf to get a feel for the game without feeling too concerned about their score.
Visitors are most welcome.
