Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club is a Par 69, 18 hole Ross Watson designed Championship golf course. It features amazing bent grass greens, often described as the best north of Newcastle. The golf course is uniquely located on Stuart Island, surrounded by the Nambucca River. It is a magnificent setting for a game of golf.
It is a flat, easy walk on fairways lined with she oak and paper bark trees. However, it is also a challenge for the experienced player while still enjoyable for an average golfer.
Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club is not just a great golf course. Where else can you play golf while watching dolphins swim in the pristine river, while an abundance of birdlife, including pelicans, osprey and sea eagles fly overhead.
The course is located ten minutes off the Pacific Motorway, and 30 minutes south of Coffs Harbour. Call in and take a look. You will love a cold drink or lunch on the deck overlooking the river.
The Island Golf Club and ala carte restaurant caters for a wide variety of functions. They can host intimate gatherings in the club’s bistro through to outdoor weddings on its beautiful “Green,” all overlooking the breathtaking Nambucca River.
Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club is open for golf every day from 7:00am. Clubs, buggies and carts are available for hire. Visitors are welcome to play in all competitions. Social play is available every day. Contact the Pro Shop for available times.
