Murrurundi Golf Course & Country Club is a nine hole sand greens course located in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales. It is about an hour’s drive north of Scone, and one hour south of Tamworth. From Sydney it is about a four hour drive (309km) via the New England Highway.
Murrurundi is on the east side of the Great Dividing Range, on the Pages River at the foot of the Liverpool Ranges.
It is a great picturesque golf course, with natural beauty and a friendly atmosphere. The Club has basic facilities.
Discover the many beautiful heritage listed buildings in the region. For example, follow the town walk to the Dooley’s Store, Heritage Cottage, and White Hart Hotel. Or explore the rock formations of the Eye of the Needle past the golf course.
At the southern entrance to Murrurundi, you will be greeted with the town sign of a dog chasing ten sheep; at the northern end spot the windmill.
A variety of accommodation types are available from caravan parks, Bed & Breakfasts, Motels and Hotels. Murrurundi is an RV-friendly town offering casual and short term parking as well as a dump point in Wilson Memorial Park.
