Murrumbidgee Country Club is an 18 hole championship golf course just a short 15-minute drive from the Canberra CBD. The course is located under the Brindabella Mountains with some of the most scenic views in the region. A bona fide “hidden gem.”
The course has five separate 18-hole layouts, using separate teeing positions: the blue, white, yellow, red and green. The Green Course is the shortest layout; rated for both men and women. Both men and women use the same teeing positions but are indexed differently. A 9-hole competition is held every Thursday on the Green Course. An 18-hole ACT Short Course Championship is held in November each year.
The Bidgee Golf Shop & Driving Range is equipped with the latest golf equipment. Expert tuition is also available to fine-tune your swing or master your putt. The full length Golf Driving Range is open to the general public seven days a week (closed Thursday morning for maintenance).
The Murrumbidgee Country Club is also an ideal place for social functions, including birthdays, work parties, anniversaries, etc. It is well supported by the delicious food provided by Donna Finch in the Fairway Restaurant. The Club also offers Corporate and Charity Golf Days for between 20 to 150 guests. The events are professionally run by the expert staff and represent the best value for money in Canberra.
