Kew Country Club is a player friendly 18-hole championship golf course and driving range. The club is located 30 minutes south of Port Macquarie and 40 minutes north of Taree. It is only 500m from the Pacific Highway. This course is a hidden treasure; one not to miss when visiting the mid-north coast.
The Nagle/Cooper-designed golf course is amidst beautiful native gardens. Its undulating terrain provides picturesque views of nearby mountain ranges. Its superb well-maintained greens and native gardens attract a great variety of wildlife.
The tree-lined fairways with natural water features come into play on several holes, most notably on the 5th hole where water winds along the left-hand side for the length of the fairway.
Kew Country Club offers both golf and bowling activities with full clubhouse facilities, including a bistro service.
Kew Country Club Amalgamation with Laurieton United Services Club
In 2009 Laurieton United Services Club and the Kew Country Club amalgamated, with the administration function for both sides located on the Laurieton site. The amalgamation provides Kew Country Club with the opportunity to improve its facilities. It also ensures the club continues as a locally owned and managed community asset.
Call in for a social game of golf with friends, then finish with some refreshments at the bar, a great meal from the Fairways Bistro, or simply relax in the air-conditioned clubhouse. Tee times for social players are available on most days, with motorised carts and golf sets are available for hire from Luke Garel the club professional on 02 6559 4203.
