Inverell Golf Club is located in the heart of gemstone country in NSW’s New England region. Inverell has one of the richest sapphire deposits mined in nearby King Plains, hence the nickname, “Sapphire City.”
The course at Inverell is an interesting, fully-watered course, with excellent greens and tree-lined fairways. The front nine is undulating with moderate bunkering. The back nine is longer and more open with water challenges on the finishing seven holes.
