About Grafton District Golf Club
The golf club originally started in 1903 on the Grafton racecourse, then moved to the south of the Grafton area in 1954. Visitors and members of the local community are treated to the amazing and iconic Australian site of kangaroos hopping all over the course.
On a good day, we see anywhere from 50 to 100 kangaroos on site. We therefore emphasise that golfers be careful around the kangaroos as they are still wild animals.
The golf course and club has received great longevity, owing to the support of the local community and businesses.
