Forbes Golf Club’s 18-hole par 72 championship golf course is one of the best in country courses in NSW. The club includes a driving range, practice putting and chipping greens. A feature of the course is four holes with water crossings on a natural watercourse which forms part of Lake Forbes.
The course is located next to the Newell Highway on the northern side of town. Forbes is home to splendid heritage buildings, gorgeous river banks and leafy parks. It is an elegant town in beautiful Lachlan Valley in the Parkes region.

Visitors and social groups are always welcome and well-catered to. It is evident by a number of groups who return annually.
Forbes Golf Club runs regular competitions including the $3,000 Forbes Classic, regular veterans days, and a “Sixes” teams summer 9 hole competition to encourage new as well as experienced players.
