Crookwell Golf Club is a visitor-friendly club located on the edge of the small town in Crookwell, next to the showground. The course is available to members and visitors seven days a week.
The Crookwell course is a picturesque 9-hole, 18-tee golf course. The layout is abundant with trees, well-groomed fairways, waterways, and elevated greens. Sand bunkers or a water hazard protect a number of the holes. The fairways are tree-lined with a mix of both native and European trees. The course is a comfortable walk for social golfers, while being tough enough to challenge the more serious ones.
Being on the top of the Great Dividing Range, the golf course playing conditions transition with the seasons. Summer months generally see good ball run on the fairways, while in winter the course generally plays long.
The clubhouse comprises a bar and bistro generally staffed from Thursday through Saturday evenings and all day Saturday. Enjoy an after-round drink or bite to eat.
Competition golf is played on Saturdays. Visitors are welcome to participate. During daylight savings a Thursday afternoon 9-hole “chook run” competition is held.
Crookwell Golf Club is well-known for its friendly atmosphere. Enjoy the scenic country views and enjoy the country hospitality.
