Cootamundra Country Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in NSW, formed in 1895. It is the host of the town’s only golf course.
Cootamundra is located in Riverina, in NSW’s South West Slopes region. It is a scenic road trip from Sydney or Melbourne and only two hours’ drive northwest of Canberra.
Cootamundra Country Club boasts an excellent par 71 18-hole golf course. It measures 5608 metres from the championship tees. The feature holes, the 5th (140m) and 16th (195m), are testing downhill par threes which can punish the errant tee shots.
The club offers excellent sporting facilities for golf, bowls and croquet. It also offers TAB, poker machines, and a refreshing bar. Social activities include regular Bridge get together and the always popular bingo.
Conference Room facilities are also available.
The golf pro shop is fully stocked with all your golfing needs and offers competitive prices. Private and group coaching is available for all ages and abilities.
Cootamundra has a rich and diverse history with so much to keep history buffs entertained for days. Numerous Heritage buildings line the main street. While there why not visit the cottage (turned museum) where Sir Donald Bradman was born in 1908.
Come and enjoy the country hospitality with a friendly vibe.
All competitions are open to visitors.
